E-Liquids FAQ's

What is a e liquid?
E liquid is also commonly known as vape juice and is a combination of three (sometimes four) ingredients. Vegetable glycerin (VG), Propylene Glycol (PG), flavouring and if you choose it, nicotine. This fluid or e-liquid is deposited into the tank or pod of a vape kit and when the e-liquid is heated, a vapour is formed. This vapour is what is inhaled and exhaled during the vaping process. E-liquid comes in a vast range of flavour options and strengths, so you aren't stuck with just the taste of tobacco. There will always be new e-liquids to try and unique blends to experience! The preferred use of PG or VG e liquids is divided amongst vapers, but the advantages of both such bases can be seen here.

What types of e-liquid are there?
E-liquids and vape juices come in different ratios. The ratio refers to vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG) present in the liquid. Each of these liquid types caters for slightly different vaping preferences. The way a person vapes is very much down to their particular taste and motivation. It's important to know that not all e-liquids will work across all devices.
PG BASED LIQUIDS
PG e-liquid has a higher ratio of PG to VG. If the aim is to give up smoking, then PG e-liquids are commonly used. PG based juices are thinner in consistency and deliver a “throat hit” more aligned with traditional smoking, whilst still carrying flavour very well. This type of liquid offers higher levels of nicotine and is intended for “mouth-to-lung” (MTL) vape devices.VG BASED LIQUIDS
VG e-liquid has a higher ratio of VG to PG and are therefore a thicker consistency. VG e-liquids are synonymous with creating big, thick clouds and more intense bursts of flavour and come in a whole range of exotic flavours. These liquids are for sub-ohm, higher wattage “direct-to-lung” (DTL) vape devices.50/50 VAPE LIQUIDS
50% PG and 50% VG incorporates the best of both worlds. The result is a liquid full of flavour, A bonus of 50/50 e-liquid is that they can be used in pretty much any device and any tank. Nicotine levels for these liquids range from 0mg to 18mg, so they are ideal for light to heavy smokers.SHORT FILL LIQUIDS
Short fill e-liquids are larger bottles of nicotine-free e-liquid. There is space left in the bottle to add your own preference for nicotine. -
How is an vape juice used?
Vape juice may be used in several ways, sometimes delivered in bottle sizes ranging from 10ml to 200ml for manually refilling vape tanks or vape pods and other times coming in pre-loaded refill pods which may be switched out when the old one is empty. Which option you would choose would dependent on the type of vape kit you have chosen to use.
