I purchased this flavour after sitting on it for a week. There are not many reviews out there but the ones I found raved about this flavour as being up there with Dinner Lady lemon tart, or better. It apparently won this years best dessert flavour at one of the vape conventions.
Here are my thoughts:
This tastes more like boiled lemon sweets than it does a lemon curd. Its a nice lemon taste, not so much like the fruit loop lemon flavour from many lemon dessert vapes.. But to me, it's lacking that sweet and sharp balance that lemon curd would offer. Like you get in dinner lady, or at least used to get.... it's been a while since I vaped that and apparently the recipe has changed, The lemon in this Yuzu lemon Merengue juice tastes like very sweet lemon candy, with a lot of creaminess from the merengue which I think accounts for the absence of sharpness. The lemon is a good lemon flavour though, not too bitter, chemically, or artificial tasting like many. It's a very smooth flavour. But something about it is off putting and I can't vape it for more than 30 or 40 minutes. It's just a bit much without the buttery bakery note that you would get from a pie crust or crumble. I am missing that buttery bakery flavour A LOT in this one. I'm thinking about going back to dinner lady again to compare, despite rumours that it is not what it used to be. If you like an intense lemon flavour, go for this, you'll probably really like it. If you like sweet fruity candy flavours, I also think you'll really like this. But it is not a bakery flavour at all, and it was my mistake in thinking so.
