Fans of military role-playing games (RPGs) are going to love the styling of this Pilot Vape M57 Mech Mod. If you’re familiar with US military hardware, you’ll recognise the M57 mechanical mod as a pretty authentic replica of the ‘Clacker’ trigger device for a Claymore mine. All you’ll find inside the M57 mod is space for two parallel-connected 18650 batteries (not supplied). This military style mod has a raised 510 platform that will accommodate tanks and drippers up to 24mm in diameter without overhang.
Pilot Vape’s M57 mod is a no-frills device, without a screen, LEDs or any protective circuitry. The single safety feature is a flip-up wire bar that prevents the Fire lever from being fully depressed. Correct battery fitting is essential for this basic mechanical mod. You’ll find the correct battery polarity marked on a large label in the battery bay. To avoid catastrophic battery failure, it’s essential that you fit two 18650 batteries (not included) as described on the label.
With no control chip, the M57 mechanical mod feeds whatever power is available in the dual batteries directly to a connected tank, RBA, RDA or RTA. This device has no over-discharge protection, so you’ll need to remove the batteries for charging when the power runs low. Like many basic mechanical mods, the M57 has no on-board charging facility. The mod has an easily removeable, magnetic battery bay panel. The battery bay has a handy fabric strip for battery extraction.
The Green version of the Pilot Vape M57 mech mod has a particularly authentic military look. Even though these devices are stamped with “Winner, winner chicken dinner” you may have trouble trying to take this mod into a public venue. The M57 mod may also attract the attention of security staff at airports, train stations and other public places!

M57 Mech Mod Compatibility:
This mod’s 510 connector is mounted on a 24mm diameter circular platform which is about 4mm tall. Any tank larger than 24mm in diameter will overhang the platform. This direct output mechanical mod is recommended for use by experienced vapers only. To avoid catastrophic battery failure, please follow the battery polarity instructions provided by the manufacturer.

You may return most new unopened items (excluding e liquids) within 14 days of delivery for a full refund excluding our postage costs we have incurred. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item etc.). If the item is reported as defective, we will check item for issue/fault before deeming it faulty.
You should expect to receive your refund within 7 working days of the return arriving with us and being deemed faulty, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the product testing and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (3 to 5 working days).

Mighty Mechanical Mod
I always fancied trying a mechanical mod but wasn't 100% sure I'd like it so I got this on abit of a whim. It helped that I liked the look of it and my favourite colour was in stock. Also the price, worth a shot I thought. So I have my M57 in red. It's a good size, pretty big! But it's super light, just the weight of the 2 batteries really. I have small hands but it fits aok and the firing trigger (it's DEFINITELY NOT a button!) is the lightest resistance. If it gets loose it looks like it could be possible to tighten as flat screws appear to hold it in place. Not that I have any problems with it and hopefully won't do but thought I'd mention it. The lever lock that prevents the trigger from firing is easy to use, my little finger manages just fine to do that. I lock the trigger when I put my mod on a table/work top else it doesn't sit flush, unless on an edge. Because this mod is so BIG a small RDA is going to look lost on it. I'm using my gold Oulmier VLS with a single coil set-up and have no connection issues whatsoever. Obviously it would handle a twin coil build happily enuff but I am yet to experiment with that, happy to stick with a big single coil build for now! The ONLY reason I have given 4stars not 5 is because the battery door doesn't sit flush and occasionally I catch it and pull the door off! Now I know it happens I'm wary about it and I haven't done it for a while. It's no biggie really and certainly doesn't put me off using my M57. It's got a tough grippy feel to the casing and am hoping it will last a good while. PROPER pleased I brought it, am not scared of mechanical mods anymore!! It really is a pure vaping experience!! Thanks to GSF for having the M57 in stock and at SUCH a fantastic price!!!
