Cheapest Vapes UK: How to Find Real Value Online

Cheapest Vapes UK: How to Find Real Value Online

23rd Oct 2026

The cheapest vape in the UK is rarely the one with the lowest price on the shelf. What counts is the cost over a month, which depends on how long pods last, what a millilitre of e-liquid costs and how much you pay for delivery. This guide shows how to work those figures out, then points you to our vape deals page and the vape kit and e-liquid bundles where you can put the method to use.

How to Compare Vape Prices Properly

A sticker price tells you what a product costs to pick up, not what it costs to keep using. Three calculations give a fairer picture, and each one hides something the headline price does not show.

What to compare

How to work it out

What it hides

Cost per ml (e-liquid)

Bottle price divided by millilitres

A small bottle at a low price can cost more per ml than a larger one

Cost per pod (pod kits)

Pack price divided by pods in the pack

A cheap pod that empties quickly costs more than a dearer one that lasts

Cost per month (everything)

Kit cost spread over its life, plus pods or liquid, plus delivery

A low kit price followed by expensive refills

Take two pods as an example. Pod A costs half as much as Pod B but lasts only a third as long, so each day of vaping on Pod B costs two thirds of what it does on Pod A, even though Pod B looks dearer on the shelf. E-liquid works the same way: divide the price by the volume and compare the results, not the bottle prices.

Nicotine type changes the comparison. Nic salt e-liquid usually comes in 10ml bottles, so cost per ml is the figure that tells two bottles apart. Larger shortfill bottles are sold without nicotine, with nicotine shots added separately, so count the shots in the total. Our e-liquid deals page groups multi-packs, 10ml offers and shortfill deals under separate headings, which makes the per ml sum easier to run.

How Vaping Products Duty Changes the Sum

From 1 October 2026, Vaping Products Duty adds £2.20 for every 10ml of vaping liquid, a flat 22p per ml, whether it contains nicotine or not. A 10ml bottle therefore carries £2.20 in duty and a 100ml shortfill carries £22, with VAT on top. Because the rate is the same per ml at every bottle size, duty does not favour large bottles over small ones, so the per ml sum still shows which bottle costs less once the rest of the price is counted.

Where the Savings Sit: Kits, Pods and E-Liquid

Each part of vaping saves money in a different way, and the biggest saving depends on what you buy most often.

Kits

A starter kit is the usual entry point, and the wider vape kit range covers every device type. Two routes tend to lower the outlay: bundles that pair a kit with e-liquid, and the hardware clearance page, which is where older stock moves out. Clearance stock can include previous-generation devices that work well, though the range changes as items sell, so check what is listed before planning around it.

Pods

For a pod kit, the replacement pod is the running cost. Multi-packs usually lower the cost per pod, so compare pack sizes rather than single pods. Check that the pod you are buying fits your kit before you stock up, as pods are not interchangeable across brands.

E-liquid

E-liquid is where multibuy offers turn up most often. Kit and e-liquid bundles add liquid to a kit order, and the e-liquid clearance page lists liquids being moved on. Clearance liquids suit flavours you already know you like, since an unfamiliar one is a gamble at any price. Stock on offer pages changes regularly, and some listings carry an expiry note, so read the listing before you add it to the basket.

Delivery and rewards sit alongside these routes. We offer free UK delivery above an order threshold, shown in the site banner, and reward points on every order. Check the threshold before you check out: an order that falls just short can lose the saving you were chasing once delivery is added.

Cheapest Disposable Vape UK: What Is Still Allowed

Single-use vapes have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025. The GOV.UK guidance on the single-use vapes ban says a legal reusable vape needs a rechargeable battery, a refillable container or replaceable pod, and a removable, replaceable coil. Refills and coils should be available to buy separately.

A search for the cheapest disposable vape therefore leads to the same place for every UK buyer: a low-priced refillable kit. A starter pod kit with a rechargeable battery is the usual low-outlay route, and the running cost then comes down to pods or e-liquid, which the comparison above covers.

False Economies to Avoid

Some savings cost more than they save. These are the ones that catch people out.

  • Very cheap kits with short pod life. A kit priced far below the rest can come with pods that empty quickly. Run the cost per pod before you decide it is a bargain.
  • Small bottles at a fixed price. A bottle that looks cheap can cost more per ml than a larger one beside it. Divide before you buy.
  • Paying delivery on a small order. One bottle with delivery added is often dearer than the same bottle in a larger monthly order.
  • Sellers that ignore the rules. The Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 set a 20mg/ml limit for nicotine strength, a 2ml tank limit and a 10ml limit for refill bottles holding nicotine. A device or bottle that exceeds these is not a legal UK product, however low the price.
  • Buying clearance you will not use. A bargain flavour or device you leave in a drawer costs more than a full-price one you vape.

Spending Less on Vaping Over a Month

A few habits keep the monthly cost down without changing the device you use.

  • Compare per ml and per pod. Run the sum each time rather than relying on the headline price.
  • Refill rather than replace. Where a kit takes refillable pods, filling them usually costs less than buying pre-filled ones.
  • Group your monthly order. Buy pods, e-liquid and spare coils together and check the delivery threshold and reward points first, so delivery is paid once or not at all.
  • Keep an eye on the deals pages. Offers and stock change, so a quick look before you order is worth the time.

FAQs

What is the cheapest way to vape in the UK?

The lowest-cost route is usually a refillable pod kit with a rechargeable battery, topped up with e-liquid bought in multi-packs or larger bottles. Work out cost per ml and cost per pod, then add delivery. A kit with a low sticker price and short-lived pods can cost more over a month than a dearer one whose pods last.

Are cheap vapes safe to use?

Price alone does not tell you. A legal vape sold in the UK must meet the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, which cover tank size, bottle size, nicotine strength and packaging. Buy from a UK retailer, use the charger supplied by the manufacturer and follow the instructions that come with the device. If you are unsure about vaping and your health, talk to your GP or pharmacist.

Is it cheaper to buy e-liquid in bigger bottles?

Often it is, but divide the price by the volume to be sure. Nic salt liquid is sold in 10ml bottles, so the saving there comes from multi-packs. Shortfills come in larger sizes without nicotine, and the nicotine shots you add are an extra cost to include in your sum.

Are vape deals still available after the vape tax?

Offers still run, though the cost of e-liquid is changing. Vaping Products Duty applies to vaping liquid from 1 October 2026 at £2.20 per 10ml, so cost per ml is the figure to watch. From 29 October 2026, the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 also makes it an offence to give away vaping products for free or sell them at a substantial discount where the aim is to promote them. The GOV.UK guidance on selling vaping and nicotine products says normal discounting is unaffected, including reduced prices on unsold stock and bulk discounts, so the offers you see can change. Check the vape deals page for what is current.
