Kanger CL Tank

If you are a safety conscious vaper, the 2ml version of this Kanger CL Tank is fully compliant with the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD). The tank’s main safety feature is a child-proof locking mechanism which stops kids from coming into contact with the e juice. The CL Tank is also designed to be leak-free – a great innovation for all vapers.

During development of the CL Tank, Kanger have taken a fresh look at all aspects of sub-Ohm tank design. This is one of the first tanks on the market to claim TPD compliance.

To remove the top section for filling, you need to align an arrow on the top-cap then push and unscrew the cap. It’s very much like the mechanism on a protected medicine bottle. In a radical design shift, the top-cap, chimney and coil all lift out of the tank as a single unit. This leaves the whole tank fully open for easy filling. This new arrangement also simplifies access to coil head when you need to fit a replacement.

Along with a fitted, 0.5 Ohm stainless steel coil head for wattage or temperature controlled modes, the CL Tank also comes with a 0.15 Ohm Ni200 coil. The nickel coil is strictly for temperature control mode only. This coil will give a reliable, consistent vape with much less risk of a dry hit.

The new CL coil heads and chimney both feature a twin-wall design. Airflow follows a ‘U’ shaped route down through the outer wall, into the coil. Vapour is then drawn up to the drip tip through a central channel. The twin-wall design makes the Kanger CL Tank totally leak-free. The new arrangement also moves the airflow adjustment ring to the top of the tank. In a departure from their other (non TPD) tanks, Kanger have given the CL Tank a single ‘cyclops’ style air intake port.

The Kanger CL Tank delivers a safe sub-Ohm vape with moderate cloud production and clean, dependable flavour. If you’re worried that the kids might mess with your vaping gear, this affordable TPD tank could be a sensible investment.
