With a total capacity of 6000mAh, the two batteries give this practical, carbon-fibre clad mod a maximum output power of 234 Watts. A neat adapter is also included to make this mod compatible with dual 18650 batteries.
The Captain PD270 features a traditional box mod design. The large, front-mounted OLED screen is driven by an IWEPAL 234W TC chipset. Rather than resorting to fancy graphics and gimmicks, the screen is designed for practical, high-power vaping. On the screen, you’ll see individual battery level icons, a puff counter, vape timer and your selected coil pre-heating mode, along with all the vaping basics.
If you’re planning to use the IJOY Captain mod with your own drippers or rebuildables, you’ll probably enjoy tinkering with the easily accessible coil pre-heating settings. Apart from the three pre-set variable wattage modes: normal, hard & soft, you also get a user customisable firing curve which is really easy to program. These modes allow you to get the best possible vape from a DIY coil build.
Another big plus that the Captain PD270 delivers for RBA and dripper fans is an amazingly wide range of compatible atomizer coil resistances. This versatile mod will fire coils with resistances as low as 0.05 Ohms. An upper limit of 3 Ohms makes the Captain mod compatible with most mouth-to-lung tanks.
If you’re a smooth, sophisticated temperature control (TC) vaper, the Captain PD270 box mod comes ready for vaping with Stainless Steel, Nickel or Titanium coils (not supplied). If you need to set up your own temperature coefficient slots, a few clicks on the control buttons will allow you to create two custom TCR settings in memory.
The IJOY Captain PD270 box mod comes with a USB charging/upgrade cable and built-in battery charging capability. Many experienced vapers prefer to use an external charger for dual 20700 and 18650 batteries.

We only ship orders to UK and operate a Same Day Dispatch (99% of the time, sometimes delays may occur) on all orders placed before 4pm on working days (Monday to Friday excluding weekends & Bank Holidays). Any orders placed after 4pm cut off on weekdays (Monday to Friday) or over weekends, will be dispatched the next WORKING day. We do not dispatch goods over weekends or bank holidays and do not offer delivery on Bank Holidays.
When you place an order, we will estimate a delivery date for you based on the shipping method you have chosen. This is an estimation only and is not guaranteed delivery date. All orders are shipped in discreet packaging.
You may return most new unopened items (excluding e liquids) within 14 days of delivery for a full refund excluding our postage costs we have incurred. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item etc.). If the item is reported as defective, we will check item for issue/fault before deeming it faulty.
You should expect to receive your refund within 7 working days of the return arriving with us and being deemed faulty, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the product testing and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (3 to 5 working days).

I purchased this as a replacement to the PD270 which was stolen from my local pub. This is an AMAZING mod, nothing bad to say about it.If purchased I would advise updating the firmware from 1.3 to 1.6 as I have found the battery lasts much longer. I use with a 25mm tank and have ample clearance. I LOVE THIS MOD - buy it... buy it now!
