Soon after its release, this Vandy Vape Kylin RTA was receiving rave reviews from YouTube’s star vapers. It’s easy to see why when you open up the tank and take a look at the 24 carat, gold-plated build deck. It’s not just the bling that gets this rebuildable tank atomizer the five star reviews. The Kylin’s airflow arrangement is totally revolutionary. Out of the box, the Kylin RTA comes fitted with a TPD compliant 2ml capacity Pyrex glass tank. You’ll also find a larger Pyrex glass section boxed as a spare.
This amazing atomizer comes with three different drip tips. Try them all to find out which one suits you best. The kit also includes a 510 drip-tip adapter. The Kylin RTA has a fairly standard top-fill mechanism, though the top-section features chunky castellation for a better grip. A castellated ring below the glass section allows you to close off the e juice ports during filling – a very welcome feature on an RTA!
It’s the Kylin RTA’s airflow that makes the tank such a star performer. Air from the 2 adjustable slots on the tank’s base is directed up to 4 large ports on the build deck. Each of the dual coil positions is fed with direct air from below and angled air from the side. This creates a huge vortex of air around each coil. The end result is colossal cloud volume with surprising depth of flavour.
Building is incredibly simple on the Kylin’s flat deck. Though the deck is designed for big, dual coil builds, it’s just as easy to lay a single coil across 2 of the 4 terminal connectors. Coil terminals are held in the secure grip of hex-headed grub screws. Spare screws and an Allen key are also included in the box. The spares kit also includes a special key to help you dismantle the tank for building or deep cleaning.
