After spending some time with the Nexio, we think its biggest strength is how natural it feels to use. The setup is straightforward, the refill packs fit securely and, once everything is in place, there's very little to think about. If you're moving over from disposable vapes, the experience feels familiar from the first inhale.

The automatic refill system is another feature we quickly appreciated. It isn't something you'll notice every time you vape, but that's exactly the point. It quietly keeps the pod topped up in the background, letting you enjoy the device without worrying about topping up e-liquid or changing coils.

One thing we noticed quite quickly was how polished the overall experience feels. Nothing seems to have been added for the sake of it, and each feature has a practical purpose.

The battery display is a good example, plenty of pod kits still use coloured lights to indicate battery life, leaving you to guess when it's time to recharge. Seeing an actual percentage on the screen is a small improvement, but one we found genuinely useful during everyday use.

We were also pleasantly surprised by how consistent the flavour remained throughout the refill. Some prefilled pod systems start strongly before becoming a little muted towards the end, but the Nexio stayed remarkably steady. Whether we were vaping fruit, soda or mint flavours, each refill delivered the same clean, well-balanced taste from the first puff through to the last.

Replacing the Nexio refill pods is equally straightforward. Once we'd fitted the first one, changing flavours only took a few seconds and quickly became second nature. It's a simple system, but one that works exactly as you'd hope.

One of the things we've always liked about IVG is the variety within its flavour ranges. Rather than relying on one style of vape, there's a good mix of fruit, soda, candy and cooling blends, giving most people something they'll enjoy.

These are the five flavours that stood out to us.

Lemon Fizz: Lemon Fizz was one of the flavours we were most looking forward to trying, and it didn't disappoint. The lemon has a bright, fresh taste, while the fizzy finish gives it a little extra character without becoming overpowering. If you usually enjoy citrus vapes, we'd happily recommend starting here.

Mr Blue: It wouldn't feel like an IVG range without Mr Blue. This is one of those flavours that's remained popular for a reason, balancing mixed berries with a cool finish that's bold but easy to vape throughout the day. We can see existing IVG fans feeling right at home with this one.

Cola Ice: Cola flavours can be a bit hit and miss, but we thought IVG got this one right. The cola comes through clearly, there's a gentle icy finish and neither element overpowers the other. It's a nice option if you're looking for something different from the usual fruit flavours.

Purple Lemonade: Purple Lemonade is another flavour that shows what IVG does well. Sweet mixed berries are balanced by a sharp lemonade finish, giving it plenty of flavour without becoming too sweet. We found ourselves coming back to this one more than once.

Rainbow Burst: If you enjoy candy-inspired flavours, Rainbow Burst is well worth trying. It's sweet, fruity and full of the bold flavour you'd expect, but it still feels well balanced. We think this one will be particularly popular with anyone moving over from disposable vapes.

One thing we've learned after speaking to customers over the years is that there isn't a single vape that's right for everyone. If you enjoy tweaking settings, experimenting with different coils or filling your own pods with e-liquid, the Nexio probably isn't aimed at you.

If, however, you're looking for something that's straightforward, reliable and easy to live with, it's a very convincing option. It keeps the simplicity that many people enjoy about disposable vapes while offering a more practical rechargeable alternative that doesn't ask you to learn a whole new way of vaping.

The more time we spent with the IVG Nexio, the more we appreciated the thought that's gone into it.

There isn't one headline feature that completely changes the game. Instead, it's lots of smaller details that come together to create a genuinely enjoyable everyday vape. The refill system is simple, the battery display is genuinely useful and, perhaps most importantly, the flavour stays impressively consistent throughout each refill.

For us, that's what makes the Nexio stand out. It doesn't try to overcomplicate things or chase gimmicks. It focuses on delivering a smooth, reliable vaping experience that's easy to recommend.
