With its simple power adjustment knob and grungy tin box, Sigelei’s Vcigo Moon Box and Moonshot RDTA package has the look and feel of an all-time classic vape kit. Sigelei aren’t saying exactly what’s under the hood of the Vcigo Moon Box mod, but we’re guessing that’s it’s a variable voltage PCM device with about 200 Watts of vaping power. Feed that output to the kit’s dual post, Moonshot RDTA and prepare for the kind of clouds you’d expect from a Houston rocket launch!

Forget about a display screen and fancy functions – it’s back to basics with the Vcigo Moon Box mod. Above a simple, square Fire button there’s a single LED light. This little bulb is going to flash-out some basic in-flight information about your remaining battery power and any fault conditions that occur. A second LED above the USB battery charge port signals the mod’s charging status. The Moon Box mod runs on two 18650 batteries – these aren’t supplied with the kit.

On the side of the Vcigo Moon Box device, you’ll find the curious little power knob. Though this is marked with 50W, 100W, 150W and 200W power settings, the actual power applied to the tank will depend on the resistance of the connected atomizer. Sigelei advise that the actual wattage could be 10% higher or lower than marked. This amazing little mod delivers an incredibly hard hit, so it’s best to start at a low power setting, then gradually turn-up the dial until you find the sweet-spot for your build.

The Moonshot RDTA has been around for a while, during this time it has built a solid reputation for great flavour. Designed mainly for experienced DIY coil builders, the Moonshot RDTA has a quirky, dual post build deck with phenomenal below-coil airflow. The atomizer’s deck is designed for compact, dual-coil setups. Each of the two post-blocks has a large terminal hole. These are positioned low on the deck, so you may need to leave a little extra length on your coil wires. The Moonshot tank has a push-down sleeve that needs to be fitted over the wicks. There are some handy YouTube videos that show you how to tackle this.

Moon Box and Moonshot 24mm RDTA Kit Compatibility:
The Vcigo Moon Box mod will fire most types of 510 compatible atomizer. Experienced vapers can also use the Moon Box mod with a wide range of mid to high-power drippers and RBA’s up to about 25mm in diameter without overhang. The Moonshot 24mm RDTA can also be used with other 510 compatible mods. Please check your equipment manuals and specifications to make sure that devices from other manufacturers are fully compatible.
