The futuristic symmetry of the Predator 228 Watt mod gives the device a unique and distinctive look. It’s not just the mod that benefits from ‘Sinuous’ US designer styling. The kit’s 25mm diameter Elabo tank features a lockable, sliding top-cap and an exquisitely engineered airflow adjuster. Depending on the fitted coil, the Elabo tank can hold between 4.6 and 4.9ml of e liquid. With the Elabo tank, the Wismec Predator 228 starter kit delivers a formidable, full-flavoured vape at settings from 40 to 120 Watts.
The Predator 228 features Wismec’s classic OLED display layout. Simple and informative, the display shows Volts, Ohms, Puffs and Amps at the centre of the screen. Wattage settings run from 1 to 228 Watts. The minimum atomiser resistance in variable wattage (VW) mode is 0.1 Ohms. Temperature control (TC) settings have a standard range of 100ºC to 315ºC. For advanced TC vapers, the Predator 228 mod offers adjustable TC wattage and TCR features. This is a dual 18650 battery mod (batteries not supplied). Individual graphic battery levels are neatly displayed at the bottom of the OLED panel.
The Predator 228 mod is fired by squeezing the angular panel on the left of the mod. The fire panel gives a satisfying click, and also features Wismec’s phenomenal, rattle-free build quality.
The Elabo tank not only looks incredible, it also delivers a flavourful vape across a wide range of wattage settings. To fill the tank, you simply pop-up the 510 drip-tip. This unlocks that tank’s top section, allowing it to be slid back for access to the fill port. It’s neat, fast and clean. The tank comes with 2 triple core coil heads. A 0.2 Ohm coil head delivers awesome flavours in the 40 to 80 Watt range. The 0.25 Ohm coil can be vaped up to 120 Watts for some recreational cloud chasing. Both coils have Kanthal coil wire, and must be fired in variable wattage mode.
The Predator 228 mod features fast, 2A balanced charging capability through the on-board USB port. The USB port and supplied cable can also be used to upgrade the Predator’s control software.
The Wismec Predator 228 Starter Kit comes with a choice of 5 mod case colours: Rose Gold, Silver, Black, White or Red.

This box mod and tank combo can be swapped with other 510 threaded vaping devices having similar performance characteristics. The Predator 228 Watt mod can be used with high power, cloud chasing tanks and drippers. We only ship orders to UK and operate a Same Day Dispatch (99% of the time, sometimes delays may occur) on all orders placed before 4pm on working days (Monday to Friday excluding weekends & Bank Holidays). We do not dispatch goods over weekends or bank holidays and do not offer delivery on Bank Holidays.
When you place an order, we will estimate a delivery date for you based on the shipping method you have chosen. This is an estimation only and is not guaranteed delivery date. All orders are shipped in discreet packaging.
You may return most new unopened items (excluding e liquids) within 14 days of delivery for a full refund excluding our postage costs we have incurred. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item etc.). If the item is reported as defective, we will check item for issue/fault before deeming it faulty.
You should expect to receive your refund within 7 working days of the return arriving with us and being deemed faulty, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the product testing and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (3 to 5 working days).
