The R150 joins the current craze for the convenience of built-in, dual batteries. The mod’s 1900mAh battery capacity is perfect for cruising in the mid-power range between 6 and 150 Watts. The Micro One 150 starter kit comes with a colour-matched, 4ml ‘Minos Sub’ tank. Along with a fitted, 2 core all-day-vaping coil, the Minos Sub tank also comes with a great RBA/RTA deck.

In the vaping world, SMOK are famous for two things: their amazing, multi-coil atomizer heads and the advanced vape control settings on their box mods. The Micro R150 box mod has a square OLED screen mounted on a stainless steel top plate. As always with SMOK, the screen shows full details of your current vape set-up. Various combinations of button clicks will take you into advanced variable wattage (VW) and temperature control (TC) settings. These settings range from simple vape ‘Strength’ profiles in VW mode, to precise temperature coefficient adjustments in TC mode.

The SMOK Micro One 150 starter kit comes with a low profile, Minos Sub atomizer tank, which takes its name and graphics from the mythical king of ancient Crete. This is a top-fill tank with a simple, screw-down top-cap and adjustable airflow on the base. The tank’s Minos-02 replaceable atomizer head has 2 vertically stacked coils, embedded in organic cotton. When fully saturated with e juice, the supplied 0.3 Ohm, Minos-02 coil gives a big, full flavoured vape around 55 Watts. The M2 RTA (rebuildable tank atomizer) deck that comes with the tank also generates luscious clouds and flavours. Two terminal posts and a deck diameter of 25mm, give the M2 RTA tremendous potential for your own mega coil-builds.

Whilst this high-spec, Micro One 150 starter kit is great for regular vapers, technical types may be interested in some of the kit’s key facts and figures. In VW mode the R150 mod will fire atomizer coils in the 0.1 to 3.0 Ohm resistance range. In TC mode the resistance range is expanded to cover 0.06 to 3.0 Ohm atomizer coils. TC temperature settings range from 100 to 315ºC. Naturally, a standard 510 connection makes the R150 mod and the Minos tank interchangeable with a wide range of sub-Ohm vaping hardware.

SMOK Micro One 150 Starter Kit compatibility:
In variable wattage (VW) mode, the SMOK R150 mod will fire almost any atomizer tank with a power rating up to 150 Watts or less and a coil resistance between 0.1 and 3.0 Ohms. In temperature control (TC) mode, the SMOK R150 mod will fire Stainless Steel, Nickel or Titanium coils a resistance of 0.06 to 3 Ohms.  The Minos Sub Tank is only compatible with SMOK Minos atomizer coils.
